First, the new guy:

Drake Demon (Charmed)

Drake is a Mercury Demon. What does this mean? Well, the Book of Shadows says:

Millennia ago these demons worked in the service of Mercury, the self proclaimed Roman God of Thievery. In modern times they've evolved into a powerful clan of upper level Demons. Hatched from eggs that incubate in the eternal flames of Hades, these Demons have the power to fire thermal blasts that can take down lesser demons in one shot. Though this power makes them formidable foes, they can be vanquished with the Power of Three.

So they're fairly bad-ass in the demon world. But Drake is the only one we've met, and he's a lover, not a fighter.

From the day he was hatched, Drake was different from the other demons. He never developed a taste for killing and spent his time reading books, which led him to understand human emotions like compassion and love. Through the decades he wormed his way out of harming any innocents, and along the way he hooked up with Belthazor/Cole. (Totally dirty.) Yes, the demon with a soul who wanted to be a real demon, and the demon without a soul who wanted to be human. Together, they fought crime. Or something like that.

Though he longed for a way to turn himself human, Drake was never able to figure out a way, but recently he ran into the ghost of his dimension's Cole. Cole, you see, was trapped in limbo due to awful writing, except he wasn't so trapped because he managed to manipulate things and hang out invisibly and watch Phoebe and her sisters in the shower. But I digress. Cole told Drake about a sorcerer who could turn Drake human and give him a soul -- but only for a year, at the end of which, Drake would die. Drake wanted to be human so much that he happily agreed, despite the sorcerer adding the provision that if Drake used his powers to harm an innocent, said powers would go to the sorcerer and Drake would burn in the fires of hell for all eternity. In return for helping him set up the deal, Drake agreed to Cole's request that he renew Phoebe's faith in love before his year was up, as well as help him help the Charmed Ones deal with the reprecussions of the SERIOUSLY STUPID action they would take in the near future. [To sum up: the Charmed Ones thought it would be a great idea to force a Utopia upon the world by taking away free will. This did not go over well. They set things back, but Piper's husband Leo got in a crapload of trouble for it and was going to have to decide between having his powers stripped and being turned into a mortal, or remaining an Elder and never seeing his family again. Somehow Cole knew that Elder Q would cheat, so he set things in motion to help Piper and Leo stay together.]

Warning: If you're breathing, there's a good chance Drake will hit on you. And in some cases, even if you're not breathing. He'll totally try to flirt with the zombies. He's an incurable romantic and will totally meddle to bring couples together. If you have characters to hook up and need a way to get things in motion? Drake's totally your demon.

Also Warning: Drake has a tendency to snap his fingers and change his outfits or conjure up something appropriate for whatever mood he wants to convey or story he's telling. For instance, he turned himself into Cyrano de Bergerac while talking about love, and later he dressed himself like Robin Hood and turned Phoebe into Maid Marian and Piper and Paige into Merry Men. He'll be doing this a lot in his class, but I'll put up something to let people opt out of Drake modding their clothing. It's never something he'd do to embarrass someone, and it's only an appearance change -- your character will retain their own identity. Outside of class, unless I know you trust me, I'll ask first. ;)

Powers: Drake can shimmer/teleport, regenerate, and throw thermal blasts, which he'll never do unless it's for a specific plot point. He's also quite skilled in conjuration and creating illusions, which again he'll never do maliciously (but possibly to prank). He loves America's Next Top Model and Project Runway. And disco. He's also an excellent singer, writer, and dancer. And he's Billy Zane, so he's a cool dude.

Raven/Rachel Roth (The New Teen Titans)

• Originally went by the name of Rachel Roth at Fandom; before the BDE, a few people knew her true name, and afterwards, it's become more common knowledge. She answers to both, just to confuse you.
  
• Is half-human, half-demon (only a handful of people know this at the moment -- Anakin, Joan, Liir, Karla, and Sam I think?).
  
• Her father, Trigon the Terrible, has destroyed and conquered thousands of worlds. He sired children across the galaxy, but only one survived childhood: Raven. He fully intends to claim her and use her to help him destroy Earth.
  
• The "sole surviving child" badge became invalid when her six brothers were retconned into existence. That'll happen someday.
  
• Was raised in Azarath, a place that exists between dimensions, and was trained to keep her emotions in check so that the evil side of her nature would not be unleashed.
  
• Is primarily an empath -- she can feel the emotions of others and absorb them into herself, easing sorrow or anger or even physical pain. The emotions/injuries briefly affect Raven as she takes them into herself (so she wouldn't, for example, be able to do a massive battlefield healing), but eventually she can expel them, unless something is very wrong. She does her best to shield herself from others emotions to keep them from affecting her, for fear of losing control.
  
• Generally, unless I know the person is shielding, I'll have her pick up on emotions in the narrative. If this is a problem, please let me know! She can also sense emotions at a distance (not generally a big one unless it's magically enhanced, but say, behind a door or strong emotion on another floor).
  
• Can also make other people feel emotions, both positive and negative. She can make someone believe they are in love with her or another, or she can overwhelm them with sadness or fear. She also has some small ability to project illusions into a person's mind. Of course, no emotional/mental power would be used on another player without his or her permission!
  
• Too much emotion can overwhelm her. Or make her start to play kinky games with Chuck.
  
• Also has the powers of astral projection (via sending her "soul-self," which takes the form of a large shadowy black raven) and teleportation.
  
• Is a pacifist and abhors violence. Unless she's angry. Which is bad.
  
• Also is a vegetarian.
  
• Has a small red jewel crappily photoshopped in the center of her forehead that helps her control her dark side.
  
• If she looks like the icon I'm using? Run.

Belthazor/Cole Turner (Charmed)

• Graduated two years ago, but was at FH from day one.
  
• Is half-human, half-demon.
  
• Is frequently guilty and emo about his evil past.
  
• Is in a relationship with Phoebe Halliwell (future_visions) and Sam Anders (cantgetnorelief).
  
• Totally does not have a crush on Angel, really. Soooooo over that.
  
• Gets extremely GRR ARGH if his loved ones are threatened.
  
• Lives in LA at the Hyperion with Phoebe, Anders, Angel, Piper Halliwell, Veronica Mars, Dick Casablancas and the resident jackass Logan Echolls.
  
• This never causes any drama, really.
  
• Goes by Bel for the most part, but Phoebe calls him Cole. Anakin and Logan call him jackass.
  
• Got turned human, possessed by the Source of All Evil, vanquished, and came back from the dead chock full of demonic energies.

• His evil future self has really bad facial hair. That's the worst part.
  
• Is dating a hot alien babe, Isabel (izzyalienqueen), and is totally crazy about her.
  
• Lives and goes to college in San Francisco, but frequently commutes to Vegas to be with the GF.
  
• His brother is Chris Halliwell (neurotic_witch. His AU mom is Piper (cookinggeek), and Phoebe is his AU aunt. Savannah Levine (walks_two_paths) is his adopted bratty little sister.
  
• He's very protective of his little brother, but that doesn't stop him from teasing the hell out of him.
