The dorms were a turmoil of emotions due to visiting family. Raven had gone up to the roof to meditate to make certain her shields were strong enough to keep all the nervousness and aggitation and happiness from overwhelming her.

The call of her name interrupted her attempts. She opened her eyes and looked around the roof, but did not see anyone. But when she heard her name again, she realized it was in her mind, and the summoning felt impossible to resist. She rose to her feet and teleported to the park.

( A boy with pale skin and almost white hair awaited her. )
