Raven's Soul-Self existed in all planes of existence at the same time. It wasn't something she was conscious of or truly understood, it just was. So when the multiverse began to crack, she felt it. Her soul splintered and pieces of it were swept away. It manifested in her body as physical pain, pain which woke her from her sleep. She was accustomed to pain when she used her gifts to heal, but aside from healing the lingering injuries to Sookie's back two nights ago, she had not used them recently. This pain was different, and she couldn't find any physical reason for it.
She tried to relax and let the pain vanish into the netherverse as she always did, but nothing seemed to work. The pain was coming from within, not without, and for a moment she was terrified that her father had found some new way to torment her, even trapped in his own dimension.
Further sleep was impossible, and she lay in her bed, hugging her pillow, using it to try to stifle her whimpers of pain.
[Mostly establishy, but if any cabinmates or visitors looking for Raven want to overhear her being in paaaaaaaaaaaan, feel free!]
