Jono's Corner of 616, Tuesday Fandom Time

Raven had spent several days in the form of her namesake, mostly keeping out of Joni's reach (the one time she'd let her guard down had resulted in a pounce attack and feathers flying about the room) and munching on the berries and nuts Jono thoughtfully provided (though she had the strangest craving for roadkill, which she was not going to think too hard about later). But she was restless due to being confined inside. Flapping about the room just wasn't enough to really stretch her wings.

So she was going to take it out on Jono by constantly getting her beak and wings into whatever he was doing. Caw! Pay attention to her!

She was going to sweep him away in those feelings all over again. Which suited him just fine, because he was feeling quite the same way. Love want need yes, cycling around and around until it was just one bundle of emotion all wrapped up in itself, driving him on alongside the sounds she was making and her nails in his shoulders, hard enough to be felt though his wrappings.

The bites and kisses that he'd been sending started to grow a little more erratic as the rhythm they'd been setting shifted into something more hungry than anything else, something that screamed that if they stopped moving now he was pretty sure that he'd die, and if they kept going, odds were he'd die regardless and he was completely okay with that.

Raven felt like she was floating, adrift on a crashing sea of sensations, the physical of his body moving into hers and the bites and kisses, and the emotional whirlwind of love and desire. She was quite happy to drown in it.

Her breath caught in her throat as she felt herself teetering on the edge of absolute bliss. She almost wanted to fight it, just wanting to stay like this forever. But the tide was too strong, and with a soft cry, she started to fall.

And if she was falling, she was pulling Jono down with her, until it felt like the whole world was crashing down around him, turning inside-out and upside-down and ripping through like a wildfire.

Not a literal wildfire. That would have been a bad way to end the evening.

But as it stood, with the way his hands were going white-knuckled in the bedsheets and his shoulders were tensing and his back was arching, Jono wouldn't have been able to tell the difference at quite that moment anyhow.

Raven pressed up against him, nails leaving scars in his leather as she tensed and shuddered. Then she sank back down, her grip relaxing but not letting go. Not ever letting go.

Her chest was heaving, and her breath came in short shallow pants. She felt even more of a euphoric high that she did after healing, and she gave Jono a blissful smile, still basking in the heat of the emotions.

"I love you," she whispered.

[furnaceface]

//Love you, too,// Jono replied, his voice still hazy while the last of the firework sparks drifted down through his mind. He was going to have to move around. Relocate a little bit in a while, if only to peel off the rubber and just settle up against her, but right now, this seemed like a good place to be. Still a good place to be. //So bloody beautiful...//

How the hell was he so lucky?

He didn't have to move just yet. She didn't want him to. She was absolutely content to lay there beneath him for a little while, their bodies still joined, her arms around his neck as she sent him soft, lazy kisses.

"I am so lucky," she said, moving one hand to let her fingers brush against his cheek. "So very lucky. I am blessed."

[furnaceface]

//You?// Really, now. Jono seemed a bit dubious about that one. //No, luv. Trust me. I'm th'lucky one.//

And the shamelessly flattered one.

And the one who was burying his face in that little dip between her jaw and her shoulder.

"You love me," Raven said, tilting her head with a contented sigh as her breathing slowly returned to normal. Her heart was still racing, though, and she felt so light she thought she could fly.

"You have given me the greatest gift anyone could."

//You,// Jono accused, though there really wasn't any heat behind it, //are a shameless flatterer. Utterly shameless. Has anybody told you that lately, Sunshine?//

Raven took a moment to pretend to think that over. "Not lately," she said. "So perhaps I am overdue. But on the other hand, I do not lie."

She just might omit details from time to time. But that wasn't important right now.

//And I only leave out facts when it's convenient,// Jono replied, as if that was anything remotely near being the same thing.

Mostly it meant that, for a guy without a mouth, he had a rather big one unless ranting about something managed to somehow not suit him.

//Yer still a flatterer.//

Aw yeah. So there.

[trigons_child]

"Perhaps," Raven said, laughing lightly, stretching her arms and running her hands down his back. "But there is nothing wrong with that, is there? I never want you to forget how much I love you, and how special you are to me."

She'd remind him of that over and over again if she had to. And even if she didn't.

[furnaceface]

//No complaints,// Jono decided, closing his eyes and settling down against her. //No complaints whatsoever.//

Oh, yes. He was definitely going to keep her. She was most certainly a keeper.

"Good," Raven murmured. "Because you have no choice in the matter, I fear."

When it came to flattery, Raven was ruthless.
