Room 509, Monday morning

Raven had made a quick trip into town to buy food, mostly hardier fruits and vegetables like apples, since she wasn't sure how long she would be gone and what she'd be able to salvage or preserve in Azarath. She filled a basket with food and bottles of water, enough to last her for some time. It was heavy, but one of the benefits of teleporting was that some extra weight mattered little.

She'd slept poorly the night before, and shielding out all the craziness that she'd eventually picked up on hadn't helped. Fortunately things seemed back to normal in the morning, aside from the usual residual embarrassment, though that gave her all the more reason to take some time away.

She left a few messages to let people know she was going, then returned to folding some blankets to take with her on her trip as she tried to make certain she wasn't forgetting anything she might need.
